Email copy, in-app copy, cross-functional creative alignment with Brand, Marketing, Legal and Product teams.

The Work

Writing for Robinhood means navigating a constraint that many copywriters never encounter: every word goes through Legal and Compliance before it reaches a customer. The challenge isn't just writing clearly—it's writing warmly and specifically inside a framework that could easily flatten everything into boilerplate.

The job was to position Robinhood as a company unique and point of view on money. From the “dry” stuff like brokerage accounts and margin trading to the highly-visible crypto and prediction markets. Our goal on the Growth and Marketing copy team was to create customer-facing content that was clear, direct, and never condescending. Approachable and occasionally winking, without being glib about people's money.
